Offset paper, formerly known as "Dolin paper", is mainly used for lithography (offset) printing presses and other printing presses to print high-grade color prints, suitable for printing monochromatic or multicolor book covers, text, centerfolds, pictorial, maps, posters, color trademarks and various packaging paper.

Offset paper is of high strength and printability. There are single-sided and double-sided two kinds, as well as soft light and hard light two grades. Offset printing is a relatively advanced printing for books and publications, which has high requirements on contrast, expansion and surface strength. Acid and alkaline should also be close to neutral or weakly alkaline, so as not to affect the paper used for printing.

The scalability of offset paperis small.The absorption of ink for the offset paper is uniform.There’s also good smoothness, texture, whiteness and water resistance.Conjunctival offset printing ink and lead printing ink of good quality should be chosen for offset paper. The viscosity of the ink should not be too high, otherwise there will be depowder and hair phenomenon. We should also prevent the back from sticky dirt, generally by using anti - dirtagent, powder or clip lining paper.
